This law regulates the principles and procedures for the control of export, re-export, import and transit of strategic goods, laying down general provisions concerning the activity of this kind of goods in order to ensure the national security of the Republic of Moldova, promotion of the country's foreign policy and participation in international export control efforts.
The subjects of the law are: a) the Interdepartmental Commission for Control of export, re-export, import and transit of Strategic Goods; b) State bodies engaged in the control of export, re-export, import and transit of strategic goods; c) People engaged in export, re-export, import and transit of strategic goods.
