Department Administrative Order No. 22-08:2022 - The New Technical Regulations Concerning the Mandatory Product Certification of Fireworks with General Categories 1, 2, And 3
Modification of specific details in existing procedures: Product coverage; Administrative purpose:
DAO 22-08 aims to ensure that locally manufactured fireworks, with general classifications 1, 2, and 3, meet the specified safety requirements as required under the Philippine National Standards (PNS). This Technical Regulation also aims to support and align with the advocacy of various government agencies such as the Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), and the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) on safety practices relative to the use and manufacture of fireworks.
