    Retained EU law*:


    Regulation (EC) No. 1005/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 September 2009 on substances that deplete the ozone layer (recast) (Text with EEA relevance), incorporated into law by the EU Withdrawal Act.


    In the context of the Vienna Convention for the Protection of the Ozone Layer and the Montreal Protocol on the substances that deplete the ozone layer, the import of ozone-depleting substances (ODS) is subject to licensing.
