  • With reference to the power conferred under sub-section 22 (a) of Section 5, the Forest Department declared the list of wild flora which can be cultivated commercially, among the protected endangered wild fauna and wild flora. The list includes a total of (12) wild plant species.


    The above measures aim to conserve wild flora for their sustainability and prevent extinction in accordance with the existing laws and regulations.


    All species listed in this Notification are allowed to capture, collect, cultivate, and transfer or export in accordance with the stipulating terms and conditions of the Forest Department, of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation. A person who has received approval to cultivate wild flora shall register at the Forest Department in accordance with the prescribed manner.
