The purpose of the Directive is to give information concerning quality, safety and health of prepackaged foods to consumer who can choose properly, to implement labelling of prepackaged food which is manufactured, processed, packaged, stored, distributed, sold, imported, exported, displayed, promoted in the market to comply with local and international standards and to support traceability mechanism.
