  • Para el caso del Ministerio de Comercio, Industria y Turismo, en el año 2023 se estableció mediante el Decreto 1898 del 8 de noviembre de 2023, un contingente automotor denominado Instrumento Arancelario para el Mejoramiento Ambiental y de la Seguridad Vial (lAMAS), para los productos clasificados en las partidas y subpartidas arancelarias 8701.21, 8701.22, 8701.23, 8701.24, 8701.29, 8702, 8703, 8704, 8705 y 8706. Bajo este contingente se manejan cupos anuales, el cual está bajo la administración de la Dirección de Comercio Exterior.
