This Law establishes the basic principles of state policy governing the production, import, export, wholesale and retail trade in ethyl alcohol, alcohol distillates, bioethanol, alcoholic beverages, tobacco products, tobacco raw materials, liquids used in electronic cigarettes, and fuel, as well as enhancing measures against their illegal production and circulation in Ukraine.
The Law of Ukraine No. 481 “On State Regulation of the Production and Circulation of Ethyl, Cognac and Fruit Alcohol, Alcoholic Beverages, Tobacco Products and Fuel” of 19 December 1995 (notified in document G/LIC/N/2/UKR/20) was repealed by the Law of Ukraine No. 3817 of 18 June 2024 and ceased to be in force as of 1 January 2025.
