    The "Free" import policy of Tur and Urad is extended for the period up to 31 March 2024 vide Notification No. 52/2015-20 dated 28 December 2022.

    DGFT Notification No.37/2015-2020 Amendment in Import Policy of Peas


    Modification of specific details in existing procedures:


    Import policy of Peas (Pisumsativum) including Yellow Peas, Green peas, Dun peas and Kaspa Peas is "Restricted" and import subject to Minimum import price of Rs.200/CIF per Kg and import is allowed only through Kolkata sea Port.

    Modification of specific details in existing procedures: Period for Application


    The "Free" Import Policy of Tur/Pigeon Peas (Cajanus Cajan) (ITC(HS) 0713 60 00) and Urad [Beans of the SPP Vigna Mungo (L.) Hepper] (ITC(HS) 0713 3110) shall stand extended up to 31 March 2022;

    Import policy for Urad and Tur shall remain unchanged. The Import Policy is "Free" for consignments with Bill of Lading/Lorry Receipt dated on or before 31 March 2022. Imports should be cleared from Customs on or before 30 June 2022.

    The "Free" Import Policy of Moong [Beans of the SPP Vigna Radiata (L.) Wilczek] under ITC (HS) Code 0713 31 90 shall stand extended up to 31 March 2022;


    Import policy for Moong shall be "Free" for consignments with Bill of Lading/Lorry Receipt dated on or before 31 March 2022. Imports should be cleared from Customs on or before 30 June 2022.


    Amendment in Import Policy of Moong amends S.O.5317(E) dated 20 December 2021. Import policy for Moong is revised from "Free" to "Restricted".
